Our client is a leading American multinational company in Retail. They are seeking a highly qualified lawyer to provide high level legal advice and guidance to the organisation.


Responsibilities:


- Primarily responsible for legal issues relating to PRC and Hong Kong, and managing the rest of APEA with external counsel assistance.
- Oversee drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements.
- Lead implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance within different jurisdictions.
- Provide legal advice and support in a wide range of corporate matters to senior stakeholders and business units in PRC, HK and rest of APEA.
- Work closely with other members of the legal department in other jurisdictions.
- Support ad hoc projects when required.


Requirements:


- PRC qualified
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualified experience
- Experience in commercial and IP matters is highly preferred
- Experience in Retail / FMCG / Manufacturing is highly preferred
- Sound presentation skills, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua is desirable ...
