about the company

Our client is a reputable property developer to call for talents to join the company as a (Associate) Director. The company is reputed for its creative and design-driven residential, infrastructural, hospitality and commercial new development projects and its eagerness to establish a strong brand name in the region. They are currently working together with the public sector to launch a number of PPP projects. They would like to invite a technical talent from the architecture/QS sector to join the team to lead the upcoming projects.

about the role

Reporting to the top management, you are expecting your major responsibilities to be the below:

  • You will also be taking charge of the early planning and execution for the public private partnerships projects
  • Lead the research and strategy approach to attract, tender for and partner with potential service providers for the facilities to ensure the smooth opening and operation of the development
  • Provide technical support and professional advice to ensure smooth coordination of the construction project from commercial and construction perspective
  • Lead a team of technical experts in the commercial team to work with project development department throughout different stages of the project, from planning, tendering, construction to completion
  • Provide business and development strategies to ensure the interest of the business and conduct regular reporting to top management
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. government officials, service providers, operators, suppliers, consultancies, contractors, etc.

requirements & qualifications

  • Degree holder in Architecture, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Professional qualification in Architecture, i.e. MHKIA, Registered Architect is a must
  • At least 15-25 years experience of strategic planning and project management for large scale development projects in HK.
  • Experience in comprehensive development projects, covering mixed-used, commercial, hospitality, cultural, infrastrual or entertainment development is highly desirable
  • Experience in public private partnership project or build-operate-transfer is required, familiarity with tendering for such projects is preferred
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership, flexible, planning and management skills with problem solving skills
  • Fluent spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin and English
