About the Company

Our client is a property developer with a long standing history in HK. They develop and own multiple commercial properties in HK and to cope with their business change, they are now looking for a high caliber Assistant Technical Manager as a future successor to join their facility management team.

About the Role

Directly report to the director, this manager will be supporting the day-to-day operations and routine maintenance of the commercial buildings, which duties include:

Administrative

• ensure all required paperwork is completed for new tenants
• ensure tenant has reinstated the premises before returning security and reinstatement deposit
• enforce terms of rental agreement

Tenant Relations

• investigate and resolve tenants’ complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
• enforce occupancy policies and procedures
• maintain good and timely communications with residents and tenants

Maintenance

• monitor and complete maintenance and repairs timeously and cost-effectively
• ensure security of premises during construction period
• organize incoming and outgoing inspections and prepare inspection reports
• make reports on proposed works to be done, gather quotation on the score of work to be done and compare quotes of contractors
• make summary reports on the status of pending works
• negotiate and manage contracts with outside vendors

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Building Services, Building Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in facility management, with experience in commercial complex is a plus
• Independent, reliable and good problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
