about the company.Our client is one of the largest food production companies in the world, with their manufacturing plants scattered across Greeater China, Southeast Asia and North America. Currently they are looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. about the team.Their headquarter in located in Hong Kong with over 500 headcount. For the R&D team, there are 10 people in total and this position will potentially report to the manager/ associate director. about the job.As an Assistant Product Development Manager , you are responsible for- End-to-end product development from research, NPI, all the way to production while ensuring food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance.- Identify market trend on new products and ensure products developed are speed to markets.- Further develop new lines of flavors, new product categories and new processing for the market that you are responsible for.- Conduct relevant testing and reporting to verify and identify qualifed ingredients.- Assist in reviewing and improving the application of new and current raw materials and packaging materials.- Provide technical support on production issues, including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients and packaging process to ensure the final products are safe and meet the required quality skills & experiences required.To be successful at this position, you need- Bachelor degree or above in food science or related disciplines.- At least 5 year product development or quality assurance experience in F&B/ food production industry.- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.- Occasional travel to the manufacturing plant in Mainland China is required.- People with less experience/ no experience in food sauce products can be considered as Product Development Officer.
