About the team:
Team of 5, stable team with great culture and support. The headcount will fall under System Implementation team, but ideally they are looking for someone with financial reporting experience within Life Insurance field who has a great knowledge in system implementation / migration as the position will be covering areas including management information and planning, ledger closing and financial reporting etc. for process enhancement and maintenance related tasks.
Job Descriptions:
...- Act as a Finance Representative in the project team to Carry out feasibility study, assess potential impact and define target operating model
- Define the appropriate testing strategy according to the project / assessments
- Responsible for system implementation / enhancement (UAT)
- Plan, designs and execute UAT as well as to update documentation, conduct training on taylormade functions or new features on the updated processes which may have an impact on finance teams
- Arrange smooth go-live implementation and provide post go-live support
- Manages multiple internal or external stakeholders who initiate systems and/or process change that impacting Finance including but not limited to Actuarial, the Global Finance Operations Centre in India, Software Delivery and Change Delivery teams etc
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior management
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting, Professional Accounting or any related disciplines
- At least 7-10 years of working experience, ideally candidates with in-house system experience
- Professional Qualification in HKICPA, CPA Aus or ACCA is a PLUS
- Sound knowledge in Insurance Products
- Knowledge or experience in IFRS 17 is a PLUS, not a MUST
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure, self-driven, able to work independently and detail minded
- Strong sense of risk management and control-oriented mind-set together with business knowledge to assist in prioritisation decisions on resources
- Excellent communications and written skills in both Chinese and English
