About Our Client:

Our client is recognised as a top tier bank globally, they are currently looking to hire an Assistant Manager to their financial control team for APAC expansion, the position will be handling 60% on leading APAC projects, internal control process & risk assessment, 40% on RCSA related duties and being the 1st line of defense for the financial reporting team.

Job Responsibilities

Drives the risk identification and ensure effective implementation of RSCA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) framework.
Designs, defines and updates control plan according to outcome of risk assessment, regulations and other risk events.
Coordinates the implementation of operational controls, analysis of control results and formalization of analyses.
Ensures that control results are reviewed and analyzed by the Entity Management and when relevant by operational teams/relevant stakeholders and that remediation action plans are defined if and, when needed.
Manage control related projects such as testing, control plan design and implementation, and Finance system data flow.
Follow-up of the findings and recommendations closure including internal and external auditor recommendations involving APAC Finance.
Contribute to projects related to the implementation of accounting standards and participate in any ad hoc Finance Permanent Control projects.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance & Accounting or any related disciplines
At least 3-5 years of working experience, welcome Big4 with FI background or in-house application with internal control experience
CPA, CFA or FRM Qualification will be a PLUS
Ability to work under time pressure and in a complex environment with stakeholders from various areas
Self-organized, with strong ability to anticipate, plan and priorities issues
Experience in leading projects or job engagements, Regional Exposure will be a PLUS
Good communication skills and able to handle senior management in APAC and HQ
