About the Company

Our client is a leading US Retailer with global operations. As a market leader in the industry, the business has been expanding across the Asia Pacific. The Hong Kong Finance team is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager.

About the team

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller

Supervise a team of 5

About the Job

  • Managing the Finance Reporting team in Hong Kong and overseeing the local operation
  • Working closely with the teams to identify issues in financial controls and processes
  • Preparing month-end closing, budget forecast, management reports and analysis, and financial business review
  • Liaison with bankers, external auditors and related parties for finance matters
  • Assisting the system migration and implementation project

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; Qualified CPA is preferred
  • Approx. 4-8 years relevant experience in Accounting or Financial Reporting, preferably with sizeable FMCG / Retailer
  • Knowledgeable in ERP system is a plus
  • Good team player with willing to do attitude
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and particularly in Mandarin
