About the Company:

Our client is a well-known Chinese Investment Group HQ in Beijing and have been operating in Hong Kong for over 20 years with total assets of over RMB 200 Billions and looking to further expand their investment portfolio. Currently, they are applying for type 7 license and looking for a finance professional to join the company to cope with the business expansion.

Job Description:

Responsible for day-to-day finance activities including full sets of accounts of the VASP and custodian
Prepare monthly financial and FRR reports for type 1 & 7 business
Prepare performance analysis on investment portfolios and present to top management or business owner on the findings
Manage payment function, taxation matters, and ensure compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements
Responsible for cash management, including performing international wire transfers, ACH payments, and virtual asset transfers
Implement and maintain effective financial controls for the organization
Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Senior Management or HQ

Job Requirements:

Degree holder in Finance & Accounting, Professional Accountancy, Business Administration (major in accounting) or any related
Professional Qualification in ACCA, CPA Aus, HKICPA or CICPA
At least 5-7 years of working experience, ideally candidates with at least 2 years in-house experience in the crypto or virtual asset sectors
Great knowledge in Virtual Asset and someone with hands on experience in handling finance & operations matters
Experience in SFC type 7 License would be an advantage
Proactive, work independently, fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English
Candidates with less experience would also be considered for a Senior Accountant title
