About the Company

The client is a globally renowned MNC that has established a leading position in the industry for operating infrastructural facilities and a strong partnership relationship with Hong Kong’s renowned organizations. It is also known for its large scale development projects and stable project pipeline. With their new large scale development project in HK, they would like to look for a QS talent to join their team as an Assistant Commercial Manager.


About the Role

Reporting to the project head, you can expect your major responsibilities to be the followings:

• You will be involving in delivering the commercial QS services, including but not limited to review and prepare contract documents, commercial estimates, budgeting, claims, financial reports throughout project construction stages
• Coordinate and communicate with internal or external stakeholders, including project team members, government authorities, QS consultants, contractors, vendors, etc.
• Involve in the procurement including but not limited to strategy formation, pricing negotiation, vetting
• Play a supportive role to the project team to ensure the project is completed in a quality and timely manner as well as within the budget

About the Requirement

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; professional qualification is preferred but not compulsory
• Around 8-12 years of experience in handling pre and post- contract QS works for construction projects
• Experience in handling QS commercial and contracts matters is required
• Experience in full cycle large scale construction projectsis highly desirable, e.g. reclamation, manufacturing, plant, logistics centre, environmental facilities or infrastructure construction or equivalent
• Good communication skills and excellent commercial sense. Good command in Cantonese & English is required to liaise with different stakeholders
• Flexible, self-driven, detail-minded and adaptive individual who has excellent stakeholder management skills
