job description

About the job

  • Supervise claims team and accountable to monitor and control claims settlements
  • Assess, negotiate and settle all outstanding and suggested claims
  • Develop and strengthen relationship with agency sales force to enlarge the business portfolio
  • Ensure the service standard and performance of service providers on satisfactory level
  • Monitor trends in claims and prepare necessary statistical information to maximize our products’ competitiveness
  • Monitor trends in claims and prepare necessary statistical information and quarterly reports for management use

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree holder with recognized insurance professional qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in claims function
  • Good business sense and able to implement initiatives at corporate level and handles multiple projects
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good command of spoken written English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
