About our client

Our client is a multinational consumer electronics company, with APAC regional office in Hong Kong.

They are looking for an Assistant Business Development Manager based in Seoul, Korea. You will be responsible for establishing new client relationships in the Online and Offline Retail sectors, ISP (Internet Service Provider) and SMB (Small & Medium-sized Business) sectors.

You will participate in developing new businesses through managing direct distributors and some indirect channels (Resellers, Retailers, System Integrators and ISPs).

Job Descriptions

  • To meet or over-achieve both the assigned annual/quarterly revenue and profit target
  • Manage and execute growth strategy in Korea for Online and Offline Retail sector, ISP and SMB sector
  • Building and expanding the SMB resellers’ network to target at corporate resellers and system integrators
  • Develop and execute Go-to-market plans including partner enablement programs and endser promotions to ensure meeting company targets, deliverables including business model, marketing strategies, pricing, competitive analysis, value proposition, budget, KPI identification, sales forecast, product training and asset management
  • Support product team on product portfolio by sharing best practices and market intelligent on competitor’s pricing, features, promotional strategies, products
  • Establish and maintain relationships with retail channels (online and offline) and manage distributors


  • Degree holder
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in I.T. channel sales or marketing in Korea, preferably with experience selling networking products
  • Strong technical background and excellent understanding about IT products including networking products: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent
  • Experience in developing and managing direct distributors and multiple indirect channel partners (Retailers, Resellers, Value-added Resellers, System Integrators and ISPs)
  • Good knowledge in business management of various channel types with strong expertise in managing resellers and SMB
  • Proven track record in achieving sales quotas and business objectives with strong financial management
  • Excellent understanding of growing and sustaining businesses in a highly competitive and fast changing marketplace
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Korean
  • Proactive and service orientated with a “can-do” attitude
