job description

about the company

Our client is one of the largest retail and corporate banks in the region. Currently, they are seeking for an AVP/ VP to join their ALM team in Hong Kong.

about the role

Reporting to the Team Head, you will:

  • be responsible for assets liability management (ALM) analysis and relevant reports
  • closely monitor and evaluate the bank's cashflow, oversee balance sheet forecast and prepare ALM reports for ALCO Committee
  • handle banking capital management, coordinate adjustments to ensure capital adequacy ratio (CAR) complies with HKMA requirements
  • perform in-depth analysis on capital utilization and liquidity ratio
  • propose feasible remedies to improve capital efficiency within the bank
  • participate in ad hoc projects such as recovery planning

skills and experience required

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • At least 5 years’ experience in asset liability and capital management gained from banking sector
  • Solid understanding in CAR and liquidity management
  • Independent, self-motivated as well as a supportive team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Candidates will more experience will be considered as Vice President
