- Oversee, operate, and manage receivable ledgers to meet targets and ensure effective resolution of overdue premiums, following company policies
- Responsible for daily tasks related to the credit control functions for Hong Kong and Macau
- Establish strong relationships with producers, collaborating on policy life cycle actions to improve receivables practices and ensure premium settlements adhere to credit terms
- Drive communication and solutions with operations to address operational issues in a structured and governed framework
- Prepare timely and efficient reporting, including regional reporting, unallocated cash, overdue premiums, bad debts, and provide analysis and recommendations for operational flows and efficiencies in payables, receivables, and recoveries
skills & experiences required.
- Degree of Accounting/Commerce or equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
- Experience within Financial Services will be an asset
- A goal-driven, self-motivated, accountable individual with a strong commitment to ethical conduct
- Possesses a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork, displaying a positive attitude
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- A solid understanding of accounting protocols with strong analytic abilities with a keen focus on precision and attention to detail
- Good command of Microsoft Office, English, Cantonese and Mandarin
