Our client is a European based investment bank with 39 regional banks across the world and employs 8,000 employees globally.

about the job.

You will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness for business applications and you will participate in problem analysis and resolution for technology products, business applications and/or services. You will be accountable for testing, support and minor enhancement of the business applications that all internal employees.

key responsibilities:

  • You will support customers on both access and functional questions about all our member facing and internal applications.
  • Respond to requests and inquiries from business partners within the pre-determined timeframe of our service level agreement
  • Investigate and resolve problems related to use of the system
  • Identify solutions to work around open issues / problems per the team’s standards
  • Document, and track, case histories, issues, and actionable steps taken
  • Perform research, testing, and recommendations
  • Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
  • Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases
  • Managing incident queues to respond and resolve application issues and product change requests. Dispatch trouble tickets and follow up on problem resolution.

skills & experiences required.

  • BA/BS in Information Systems with minor in business or equivalent industry work experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with financial applications Support or QA technical experience.
  • 2+ years of e-business systems, systems integration, writing technical documentation and gathering requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience with Helpdesk and support/issue tracking systems, preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of technical strategies, business process, application testing and support and operation in financial institute.
  • Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
  • Must interact with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize workload.
