As part of the AML Advisory team, you will be joining a close-knit group of around four individuals who are not only highly professional but also known for their friendly and supportive nature. The team has a strong expertise in compliance and is committed to providing a collaborative and positive working environment.

about the job.

Provide expert compliance advice and support to all business and operational units on Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance.
Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring programs for AML/CFT activities.
Manage internal and external inspections related to AML matters.
Act as a liaison with head office, regulators, and law enforcement agencies to address and resolve AML-related issues.
Prepare regular compliance reports on AML/CFT activities.
Conduct investigations into suspicious transactions and alerts related to name and transaction screening.
Deliver training and workshops on AML/CFT to bank staff.
Stay updated on regulatory developments and changes in AML/CFT matters.
Review policies, procedures, manuals, and control documents prepared by business and operational units.
Perform compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control testing.
Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and other ad hoc projects.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related disciplines.
3 years of experience in AML/CFT compliance, preferably within banks, financial institutions, or regulators.
Strong knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering Ordinance (AMLO), HKMA AML/CFT circulars and guidelines, FATCA/CRS requirements.
Attention to detail with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably fluent in Mandarin).
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure.
HKIB CAMLP/AAMLP accreditation is preferred.
