As an Air Freight Manager, you will
-Grow the Regional's air freight business/services, in accordance with the sales strategy on a specified tradelane
-Continuously monitor the trade lane performance against the budget and development plan
-Identify areas for business growth and suggest for possible initiatives to drive volume
-Identify desired customer segments and freight characteristics in order to formulate business strategies
-Work with Countries on customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals to drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability
-Perform market intelligence activities, e.g. pricing, market positioning, service development, prospect identification
-Remain updated on the status of trade lanes, competitors' landscape, industry trends, and regulatory changes
-Utilize the gathered intelligence to make informed strategic decisions and adjust to evolving market conditions
-Identify potential risks, implement mitigation measures, and promptly notify the Product Developer and Program Manager
skills & experiences required.
-Degree in supply chain/logistics, or other related field
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in Trade Lane managerial exposure in Freight Forwarding industries
-Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; proven ability to work with a diverse team and influence and drive change across functional and business boundaries in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic changing environment
-Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
