job description

about the company

Our client is a SFC licensed financial institution specializes in providing securities and corporate finance services. Currently, they are seeking for a junior accountant to join their Finance team in Hong Kong.

about the team

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work with a group of diligent and respectful team in Hong Kong.

about the job

You will:

  • handle daily accounting duties including AR, AP, expense vouchers and staff claims
  • perform bank reconciliations
  • participate in month-end closing process
  • assist Finance Manager in preparing financial statements, P&L and balance sheets on monthly basis
  • enhance regulatory accounting knowledge under SFC licensed environment
  • assist in preparing financial returns (FRR) according to regulatory requirement

skills and experience required

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Sound knowledge in financial accounting concepts
  • Book-keeping experience from SFC regulated financial institution is a plus
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, good learning attitude with flexible mind-set
  • Confident to work in a multicultural environment
  • Good command of English and Chinese
