About the company

Our client is a well-known securities brokerage group with presence across the globe. Currently, they are hiring an Accountant for their Finance team in Hong Kong.


About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will mainly perform FRR reporting and client money accounting. Your responsibilies include:

  • Prepare monthly FRR regulatory reports to SFC
  • Perform financial calculation of client money received for securities transactions
  • Prepare financial reports and month-end closing for SFC regulated entities under the Group
  • Analyze trade costs, profit margin and revenue, handle inter-company reconciliations
  • Be the main point of contact with various banks cooperated
  • Participate in system enhancement projects within SAP framework
  • Assist in ad hoc reports when required

Skills and experience required

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in FRR reporting and client money handling
  • Prior exposure to futures, securities and brokerage industry
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, strive to grow within the team
  • Collaborative, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good command in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Manager
