An Excellent Opportunity to join a local luxury retail group in Hong Kong, they are currently looking for an Accountant for their Accounts Payable team to monitor their weekly and monthly cash flow as well as to handle their Treasury duties for their Hong Kong office.

About Our Client:

Our client is a Luxury Retail Group established in Hong Kong with more than 500 headcounts in their office, they are currently looking for the Accountant (team lead) position for their AP team to monitor a team of 4 as well as to handle their weekly and monthly cash flow process with some treasury duties, please take a look at the JDs below for your reference.

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure that all vendors’ invoices are recorded properly and promptly in the Accounts Payable
  • Handle daily accounting operations and coordinate with internal parties
  • Perform FX exposure forecast, analysis and hedge management among APAC units
  • Conduct scenario and risk analysis
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecast for management review
  • Handle month end closing for payables
  • Maintain the company's fixed assets record
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Professional Accountancy or any related disciplines
  • CPA or ACCA finalist or qualified
  • At least 6 years commercial experience in the Retail or Luxury Retail industry, solid AP + Treasury experience is highly preferred
  • Excellent in cash management, FX management and great analytical skills
  • Excellent in MS Excel and Oracle
  • Detail-minded, fast pease and a fast learner with team management skills
  • Immediate or short notice will be an advantage
  • Candidates with less experience will also be considered for an Assistant Accountant position
