My client is a well-established MNC located in Hong Kong that is looking for a Senior IT Manager with a strong focus on retail technologies, especially SAP, e-commerce, omnichannel, etc. The right candidate will be responsible for leading a small team and participating in creating project roadmap, strategies, delivery, and implications for their retail businesses in the APAC area.

- Managed a small team & 3rd party vendors and worked as a thought leader of the retail technologies (SAP) and e-commerce space for the regional project and oversaw the activities
- Define and manage the strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans covering the projects
- Act as an advisor to the business units and 3rd party vendor partners on all matters of relevant applications/devices' architecture, technologies, development, and project delivery
- Understand and predict the emerging technology, services, and functionality trends as well as comprehend market adoption of emerging services and business models.
- Review and manage manpower, budget, and timeline based on project priorities
- Collaborate with other regional technology teams to adopt best practices, align technologies with business use cases, and coordinate cross-functional plans and activities
- Attend strategies and planning meetings with the leadership team and other senior stakeholders to serve as a subject matter expert and suggest workable solutions for the business needs
- Mentor and motivate the teams to ensure the delivery will be on time with a positive outcome
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience working in relevant organizations/retail or FMCG industries with strong experience in technologies/solutions for retail stores such as ERP systems (SAP), e-commerce and omnichannel, customer-facing applications/websites, etc. is a must
- Prior experience in SAP modules for order management or supply processes such as WM (Warehouse Management) or SD (Sales and Distribution) is preferable
- Strong experience in designing technology roadmaps and strategies based on business needs
- Expertise in the design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of retail technology solutions for regional
- Prior experience in assisting with store opening or POS would be advantageous but not a must
- Strong experience in project planning and delivery in an Agile environment
- Strong business mindset, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in spoken and written both Chinese and English
